Fifteen-year-old Jacob Lau is thrust into a mysterious and emotional journey after surviving a car crash that leaves his mother missing, with no clear explanation from authorities. Resigned to a new life with his uncle and guided by a beautiful neighbor with unique abilities, Jacob agrees to become a Soulkeeper to uncover the truth about his mother's disappearance. As he trains and searches for answers, he begins to question the motives of the people around him and the true nature of the help he's receiving.
