Rachel and Talia Fontenot, sisters born into poverty in 1960s Louisiana, are separated by tragic circumstances, and Talia later disappears into a troubled life. Now living in New Orleans, Rachel appears to have it all but is haunted by grief and personal struggles. When a mysterious call sparks a series of uncoverings, Rachel is compelled to confront her past and embark on a challenging journey to find her sister.
