This novel, expanding on the novella Red Dots, follows humanity’s desperate quest for a new home as Earth becomes uninhabitable. As the spaceship Deep Space One embarks on its one-way mission, both space and Earth-based suspicions arise regarding the trustworthy intentions of the Salvation Corporation, led by Earth's President, who oversee the fleet's construction.
