Loving the Lieutenant

After returning from the Crimean War wounded and emotionally scarred, Lieutenant Maxwell Davies seeks solitude away from high society, while Miss Josephine Brewer, an outcast by birth, struggles to find her place in the world. During a week-long house party, an unexpected and intense connection develops between them.
