This queer YA retelling of The Secret Garden reimagines the classic through the lens of marginalized communities, set against the backdrop of the Georgian Bay. It follows fifteen-year-old Mary Lennox as she navigates her newfound family and uncovers long-buried secrets with the help of new friends, including Indigenous and Métis characters. As the story unfolds, Mary explores themes of healing, belonging, and the uncovering of both wonders and horrors within her family and the mysterious garden.
