In the Rear with the Beer

This work explores the Vietnam experience from the perspective of young men serving in the Rear Echelon, employing satire, political incorrectness, hyperbole, and profanity to present a farcical and sometimes disturbing narrative. The author explicitly states that the reporting is not objective and emphasizes a comedic, irreverent tone.
