Starlight, Star Bright

Eleven-year-old Miranda Stevens secretly trains a young black stallion named Starlight, who has healed from injuries and proves to be exceptionally fast, but she must keep him hidden from his owner, Cash Taylor. As various trainers are brought in to prepare Starlight for racing, Miranda's hope grows that he might someday belong to her, though obstacles and the race itself threaten her dream.
