Fire

Set in 1666 London just after the Great Plague, this story follows a gang of zealots known as the Saints, who aim to accelerate the Second Coming by committing acts of violence, including murder and kidnapping. Two men, a highwayman and a thief-taker, are enlisted to thwart their plans amid a city teetering on the edge of chaos. As tensions rise and the city becomes increasingly volatile, the narrative builds toward a dramatic climax with the ominous year of prophecy looming.
