The Valkyrie Project

A journalist journeys to Iceland during the Cold War to thwart a Soviet superweapon called Valkyrie, a laser capable of devastating the United States. As tensions escalate, an exiled scientist and a KGB assassin become key players in this high-stakes operation. Tasked with stopping the weapon's deployment, the protagonist faces both inner and outer battles in a race against time.
