Antietam Assassins

Set in 1862, this Civil War mystery follows retired Union spy Harrison Raines as he attempts to enjoy a peaceful life in western Virginia, only to be drawn back into danger when a local parson with Union sympathies is murdered. Raines, a former soldier who despises slavery, now faces the challenge of confronting threats from his new community to protect his tranquil retirement.
