Art conservator Flora Garibaldi, recently settled into her new role in Rome, gets caught up in a daring search for a substantial stash of Nazi-looted art beneath the city. As she joins an international team of experts, the hunt becomes dangerous, especially after the discovery of recent digging and a colleague's murder. Confronted by ruthless art thieves, Flora and her boyfriend Vittorio must navigate threats and uncover the truth to recover the stolen art.
