Mayflower

In 1620, the Pilgrims set sail from England aboard the Mayflower, seeking religious freedom and a new life in the New World. Arriving in November after a challenging journey, they faced a difficult first winter in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where support from local Native tribes was crucial to their survival. Their perseverance and cooperation ultimately led to the historic first harvest celebration, now recognized as the first Thanksgiving in America.
