Mara Bristol, seeking belonging after personal trauma, finds solace at the Everwood Bed & Breakfast in Maple Valley, Iowa, which she helps maintain amidst uncertain circumstances. Detective Marshall Hawkins, struggling with his past and personal issues, temporarily stays at Everwood, where an unexpected connection begins to develop. As they work together to save the inn and uncover its secrets, both characters confront their deep-seated pain and find hope, faith, and possibly love along the way.
