Set in a reimagined industrial Asia, this dark and compelling love story follows sixteen-year-old Wen as she navigates life in a slaughterhouse factory staffed by the Noor, who face prejudice and danger. When a ghost grants her a wish—brutally—Wen finds herself caught between her growing feelings for the Noor leader, Melik, and the mysterious, protective ghost.
