Amaleigha Makes a New Friend

At Happy Days Elementary, third-graders participate in a pen pal program with students from Ukraine, fostering new friendships and cultural understanding through letters. As they exchange stories about their favorite foods and traditions, the students learn about each other's lives and backgrounds. The story takes a turn when global conflict impacts their Ukrainian friends, prompting the class to find ways to help.
