In a research station in Antarctica, five top scientists investigate a mysterious, non-human entity linked to an ancient lost civilization. As they uncover clues beneath the ice and encounter strange mutations around the world, they inadvertently trigger a reawakening of a long-extinct and fiercely savage life form.
