The Man from Saigon

Set in 1967 Vietnam, this story follows Susan Gifford, one of the first female correspondents in Saigon, and Vietnamese photographer Son as they navigate the dangers of covering the war. When they are captured by Vietcong soldiers, they confront the brutal realities of jungle captivity under constant threat from air strikes. As their ordeal unfolds, the depth and significance of their relationship become increasingly apparent.
