The Boldness of Betty

Set in Dublin in 1913, this story follows Betty Rafferty as she navigates the challenges of leaving school to work in a cake shop and becomes involved in a city-wide strike. Amidst the difficulties of life on the picket line and clashes with those who don’t understand their cause, Betty and her fellow workers, even her dog Earnshaw, learn the importance of unity and standing together against unfair conditions.
