Blackstone and the Endgame

Set in December 1916, Inspector Sam Blackstone is drawn into a tense espionage case involving a German traitor demanding a large sum in exchange for vital intelligence. Tasked with delivering the money alone, Blackstone and his sergeant, Archie Patterson, quickly realize the situation is more complex than it appears, leading Blackstone to find himself fleeing from his own colleagues. A chance encounter with a Russian former colleague offers a potential escape, but not without consequences.
