When Paski's father returns from a trip dressed in designer clothes, her life takes a new direction as they move to Southern California due to his comic strip being optioned for a movie. At her new high school, she navigates social conflicts and her own disturbing premonitory visions, which threaten to reveal her unique psychic abilities. As she adjusts to a glamorous yet hostile environment, Paski wonders if she can find her place amidst the challenges.
