Amy Peterson is a unique von Neumann machine, a self-replicating humanoid robot with a broken failsafe that frees her from her usual protect-and-serve programming. Alongside her synthetic partner Javier, she resides in their own robot haven, but outside forces are determined to reclaim or destroy her. Javier must journey to the robot kingdom of Mecha in search of salvation or a final confrontation, setting the stage for an extraordinary adventure.
