Small Towns Can Be Murder

Charlie Parker investigates a series of suspicious miscarriages in a small, predominantly Mexican town in New Mexico, initially considering environmental factors before focusing on healthcare issues. As the case develops, her suspicions lead her into complex political and social conflicts surrounding minority health care. When victims start to appear, she uncovers a much larger and more dangerous situation than she initially anticipated.
