Before there was history, the sun goddess Navora visited a moon inhabited by primitive ocean life and subtly influenced its future. Over centuries, this moon evolves into a geothermal-steam-based industrial society, where political and corporate powers exert control and cause distress among the population. As crisis looms, a small group of individuals and fossils may hold the key to preventing a devastating revolution.
