Charity Marks, a public relations expert for the Professional Rodeo Riders Association, moves to the small town of Broken Branch after losing her job in Southern California, determined to stick to her personal rule of never sleeping with her clients. She soon encounters Clay Cooper, the PRRA's most charismatic and rebellious star, whose complex personality surprises her during her efforts to help him.
