Thirteen-year-old Griffin Rinaldi navigates the challenges of depersonalization disorder amidst the turmoil following his father's death, while experiencing unsettling encounters with a mysterious red-haired boy. Supported by his grandfather and cousin, Griffin faces the unsettling possibilities of whether these appearances stem from his mental health or something more supernatural.
