A series of burglaries on Folly Beach, including the theft of a valuable Rolex, casts a shadow over the holiday season, coinciding with the arrival of Mackey’s Miracle Troupe, a group of performers with good intentions. As local authorities struggle to solve the case, retired bureaucrat Chris Landrum and self-proclaimed private eye Charles Fowler take on the challenge of identifying the culprit. With Christmas just hours away, they work to restore peace and joy to their cherished island community.
