Jono, a teenage Indigenous boy growing up in Brisbane, embarks on a journey of self-discovery as he navigates new opportunities and challenges, including an internship with a documentary crew promoting a government mining project in Queensland's desert. His experiences take him to a rural town where he begins to encounter eerie omens, visions from his Dreaming, and feelings of unease, prompting him to question what he knows and believes.
