Wayne Gales is an accomplished author and chef with a rich background in resort marketing and a deep connection to Florida, particularly the Florida Keys, which feature prominently in his works. Having lived intermittently in Key West and explored numerous countries and states, he draws inspiration from his diverse experiences and passions, including sailing, treasure hunting, and music. Gales has written a series of twelve books that blend contemporary and historical fiction set against the backdrop of Key West, and he has also developed a collection of illustrated children's books.
