Adamine Bustamante, born in Jamaica within a leper colony, discovers her gift of warning at a Revivalist Church, but her abilities are dismissed when she migrates to England. As an old woman, she seeks to share her story, only to find her words are being manipulated by a novelist with his own intentions.
