A Killing in Quail County

Set in 1957 Bob White, Oklahoma, this story follows 15-year-old Mark Stoddard as he seeks adventure and respect during a summer filled with mischief, friendship, and local legends. Alongside his friends Ferret and TJ, Mark becomes involved in a hunt for a bootlegger, which leads to uncovering unexpected dangers. As a murder occurs and his brother Jess becomes a suspect, Mark faces challenging truths that test his courage and judgment.
