Elephant and Bird

Set in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, "Elephant and Bird" follows eleven-year-old Bird, who finds comfort in her unique family at a nursing home, and Pearl, an elephant facing challenges at a traveling carnival. Told through alternating perspectives, the story explores themes of loss, friendship, and hope as Bird and Pearl navigate their personal struggles and the possibility of a brighter future.
