The Denied Stone

Six generations of the Mason family have cared for a historic black stone bridge in Louisiana, symbolizing their legacy and connection to the land. With Warren Mason's departure, the responsibility falls to his ailing father and myopic brother, who faces a corporate threat to the bridge's existence. When Ronnie, Warren’s teenage nephew, attempts to save the bridge, his actions set in motion events that significantly affect the family and the town, as recounted in his later letter.
