Tower of Tears

In 1820, a young woman sets out for America seeking a better life, carrying her three-year-old son and hopeful for a new beginning in Philadelphia. As her journey unfolds, she faces numerous hardships, including pregnancy, the struggles of finding work, and encounters with a predatory boss. Despite turning to her priest for help, she finds herself increasingly trapped by her circumstances.
