The Body Outside the Kremlin

Set on the remote island of Solovetsky, this story follows Tolya Bogomolov, a young mathematician serving a prison sentence amid harsh winter conditions and a bleak regime. When a fellow inmate's body is found, Tolya becomes involved in uncovering dark secrets surrounding the victim, which leads him into dangerous territory involving illicit art dealings, conspiracy, and personal peril.
