Four Treasures of the Sky

Daiyu, an orphaned girl of once-privileged but now-missing lineage, navigates a life shaped by loss and hardship after being kidnapped and taken from China to America. Her journey takes her from a calligraphy school to a brothel and an Idaho mountain shop, as she struggles to reinvent herself and escape her tragic past. Amidst rising anti-Chinese sentiment and violence, Daiyu must draw on her resilience and multiple identities to forge her own story.
