But Family Poems is a collection of over one hundred original poems that explore various family relationships and milestones, drawing from the creators’ personal experiences and responses to audience requests. The collection includes a mix of humorous and serious pieces, covering topics such as parents, children, siblings, and extended family. Starting in the early 1990s, the authors, Felipe and Sheila Lerma, have developed a vast body of work, resulting in over a thousand unique poems inspired by what people have expressed they need and want to hear.
