The Short-Lived Escape of Jorono Cynes

Set between novels, this story follows Lt. M'kar and Security Chief Decker as they navigate an unexpected encounter with the mischievous con man Jorono Cynes during a shore leave. Despite their plans to supervise a wilderness survival trip for the ship’s children, they must focus on apprehending Cynes and returning him to custody. Along the way, there’s room for some mischief and lighthearted fun amidst their serious mission.
