Mia Tagliaro can see and talk to the dead, a secret she keeps from her new classmates while navigating her senior year at a large high school. When she encounters her childhood friend TC, now calling himself Cooper, their reunion is complicated by his desire to distance himself and the appearance of his ghostly father. As Mia tries to reconnect, she faces the challenge of understanding her gift and making sense of her relationship with him, all while dealing with the social hurdles of high school.
