The Pirates of the Levant

Accompanied by his loyal companion Inigo, Alatriste embarks on a voyage from Naples aboard a Spanish galleon, sailing east toward ports such as Melilla, Oran, and Malta, where they face challenges against the Turk. Along the way, they experience various adventures, including an encounter with The Moor Gurriato. As Inigo, now seventeen, navigates his feelings for Angelica, the story explores themes of adventure, growth, and the passage of time.
