Twelve-year-old Fee, a shy Korean-American boy and choir section leader, faces complex emotions during summer camp and grapples with the director’s abusive behavior, which he chooses to keep silent about. After the director's arrest, Fee struggles with guilt and silence, which have lasting effects on his life. As he gradually rebuilds, he encounters a young student reminiscent of his past friend, prompting him to confront his history.
