A Darker State

When a teenage boy's body is discovered in a lake, Major Karin Müller is called to investigate, but her efforts are constrained by the surveillance of the Stasi. As the case unfolds, the disappearance of a team member's son reveals a sinister conspiracy at the core of the investigation.
