Set in the small cotton-farming town of Jerrod, Texas, the story follows Drake Kilborn, a third-generation resident torn between his family's land-based legacy and the dangerous lure of illicit activities. As Drake grapples with personal tragedy and mental decline, undercover agent Freddy Paz works to uncover the truth behind Kilborn's actions and his connection to illegal herbicide trade. Blending elements of Southern noir, horror, and crime, the narrative explores themes of loyalty, mental health, and the dark side of small-town life.
