Summer of Mud

Set in the summer of 1976, this story follows twelve-year-old jazz prodigy Scoob as she navigates a challenging road trip that takes her from her dreams of musical stardom to a small Idaho town embroiled in local controversy. When unforeseen events strand her there, Scoob encounters new friends, family secrets, and a natural disaster that tests her resilience. Throughout her journey, she grapples with understanding others and discovering what truly matters in difficult circumstances.
