Tabernacle of Lies

Tabernacle of Lies is a true story that follows a Black LGBT youth navigating his sexuality while growing up in predominantly suburban White neighborhoods under the influence of evangelical Christianity. The memoir offers a compelling look at the struggles for love and innocence during the social upheavals of the 1970s through the 1990s, set against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis.
