Strange occurrences unfold at Monkeyland, a fragile sanctuary in Devonshire, where Patrick and his wife Jane have been working to save their marriage while caring for the animals. The peaceful refuge is disturbed by the mysterious death of Rue, a revered primate, and the presence of a stealthy panther-like creature that continues to elude capture.
