This multiple case study explores the diverse experiences of informal music learners at a community college, highlighting their unique perspectives on pursuing musical studies and the factors influencing their understanding. Through interviews and observations, the research uncovers common and differing approaches to learning, including reliance on listening, observation, and collaboration, as well as themes of perseverance and self-guided exploration. The study provides insights into how these learners engage with music and the potential benefits of their learning methods for others.
