The Monk of Mokha

Mokhtar Alkhanshali, a young man working as a doorman in San Francisco, becomes captivated by the history of coffee and his Yemeni heritage, leading him to explore the country's ancient coffee farms. His journey takes him into Yemen’s mountainous terrain as he attempts to organize and support local farmers, but his plans are disrupted by the outbreak of civil war and regional conflict. Amidst chaos and danger, Mokhtar must find a way to escape, driven by his hopes and passion for his homeland's rich coffee legacy.
