Set in seventh-century Ireland during a time of plague and turmoil, three men—priest Artt and two monks—embark on a perilous journey across the River Shannon to discover an uncharted island, guided by faith and divine vision. Their voyage leads them to the rocky, remote site now known as Skellig Michael, where they seek to establish a monastery. The story explores themes of devotion, faith, and survival in an isolated and challenging landscape.
