Sal finds himself on the run from multiple pursuers amid uncertain circumstances, accompanied by his new friend, Shilly, who has a clear destination in mind. Together, they journey north to the Interior, facing rugged terrain and danger along the way. As they navigate this perilous path, they must also evade the pursuing Sky Warden, Shom Behenna, and seek aid from the elusive Stone Mages.
