A celebrity's accidental scandal prompts a dramatic retreat to a quiet Florida island, where she hides out in an unexpected and charming community. There, she teams up with her fake boyfriend, Beale Goodman, a heartfelt, humorous guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for feral cats, who begins to challenge her perceptions of happiness and connection.
